We are so excited to celebrate with you at our new home THE CRAFT BEER & CIDER FESTIVAL AT ……. SUNSHINE COAST! We’ve compiled a list of our most frequently asked questions so you can get the facts right here and spend more time brewing and chewing with the ones you love most. 

Date: SAT 

Festival Hours: 12 noon until 10 pm (last drinks at 930pm)

The event is a 100% cashless event. With no cash to handle, this helps our bars and exhibitors process transactions quickly, giving you more time to enjoy the expo.

Leave your cash at home and bring your debit card or credit card and get ready to ‘tap & go’. Tap & Go at any brewer, food truck, bar or the merch tent. No card fees, No top-up fee means –  No refunds to worry about.

BUSES

ConXion will have shuttle buses that run to/from the venue be sure to book your shuttle bus when you purchase your ticket.

Travelling to CBCF:

Carpool

If you are driving to The Craft Beer & Cider Expo, think about filling the seats in your car and travelling with a friend or two? Carpooling is a great way to save some petrol money and reduces the number of cars on the road, therefore reducing pollution and traffic congestion at the venue. Plus you’ll only have to find one car park instead of two. Mates don’t let mates drink and drive!!!!

Taxis

Suncoast Cabs are available for hire for patrons travelling to and from the TBC. Suncoast Cabs can be contacted on 131 008

Uber

Uber is available on the Sunshine Coast for patrons to utilise to get to and from TBC . Patrons will need to have the Uber app activated on the Smartphone in order to use this service.

Pick Up / Drop Off Zones

For this event, pick up and drop off zones will be located at the front of the venue. These areas will be clearly marked so patrons are aware of where they are located.

Car Parking

IS a GOLD COIN Donation at THE CRAFT BEER & CIDER EXPO, Caloundra Rugby Club will managing this and a gold coin donation would be greatly appreciated These areas will be clearly marked so patrons are aware of where they are located.

Arriving at CBCF: We want you to get your brews and avoid lengthy queues so please have your ID ready, bags open for security check and your ticket on hand to scan (printed version or displayed on your phone) on arrival.

All tickets will receive their Wristband with 3 tasting circles on the wristband, to get your 150ml taster please go to Chevy Bar, Young Vintage, Salt Air Kombi or Kombi Keg for a range of tasters for you to try.

Tastings and Glass Sizes: Get ready to up your sample game with over 100 varieties of craft beer and cider’s available throughout the event!

Expo glass will have 3 pour lines, 150mls, 280ml & 425mls and is a reusable expo glass, no expo glass no entry.  A paddle for 3 x 150ml beers is $25, and a paddle refill is $15.

Non-Alcoholic Beverages: So, what if you’re not into beer, cider, red or white wine, cocktails and bubbles or are under 18?

Mocktails, Kombucha, water, and soft drinks are available for purchase throughout the expo at most food stalls or check out our new non-alcoholic Barrel Bar!

Celebrating Spring in style ! Please remember to bring a drink bottle, so hydrate at the Water station throughout the day and always drink responsibly.

Food: Street food stalls and local produce will be available throughout the expo ground. Please note that no external food will be accepted into the expo site.

Seating and Shade/Cover:  With this venue we have this ‘covered’ pardon the pun!!!! We have PLENTY of seating and shaded area’s but feel free to bring your picnic rug and fold up chair. In case of rain, poncho’s are available for sale.

All children MUST be supervised by a responsible parent at all times.

Staff and Volunteers: All staff and volunteers will be wearing BREW CREW  t-shirts for easy identification. Please give them a high-five and your utmost respect as many have given up their time to bring this event to life.

Smoking: Smoking is not permitted anywhere within the Festival site. Smokers are asked to smoke outside the venue in the allocated DOSA area. Please note that anyone smoking within the expo site will be removed from the venue.

Ticket Refunds: Please note that all tickets are non-refundable but fully transferable to another 18+ guest. 

CONDITIONS OF ENTRY:

  • Unruly behaviour and intoxicated patrons will be refused service and asked to leave the expo
  • All bags will be searched and are subject to inspection at any point during the event
  • Bottles, cans, glass, food, drink, alcohol, illicit drugs, illegal substances, fireworks, umbrella’s, explosives or anything that can be used as a weapon cannot be brought into the expo.
  • Children must be supervised by a responsible parent at all times and have their U’18 wristband worn at all times
